Effective October 1, 2026. Social is optional and initially available to adults 18 and older. Personal workout logging does not require a Social account.
Creating a Social profile enables automatic synchronization of existing and future completed workouts. Accepted friends can see your history by default. Use Social privacy to limit access. Private notes and raw body measurements are excluded. Relative-strength ratios from entered or Health-sourced weight are optional; ratios combined with absolute lifting values may reveal bodyweight. Your searchable identity is separate from friends-only workout access. Read the privacy policy before joining.
No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual or violent imagery, illegal content, impersonation, spam, or disclosure of another person's private information. Upload only content and profile photos you have permission to use. Do not use the service to encourage dangerous exercise or provide misleading medical claims.
Report a person from their profile, where you can also block them. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. We may filter, remove or restrict content and suspend accounts that violate these rules. We review reports within 24 hours and remove violating content and the accounts responsible. You retain ownership of your content and authorize GymGrove and its service providers to store, process and display it only as needed to operate the features and audiences you select, moderate abuse, and maintain security. Deleting content ends ongoing display, subject to necessary deletion processing and records required by law. Content already seen or copied by someone else cannot be recalled.
Free accounts receive ten invitations over the lifetime of their Social account. Eligible paid members receive ten invitations per membership year, renewed on their membership anniversary without rollover. Paid-year invitations use a separate allowance; upgrading or downgrading does not reset the free lifetime allowance. Invitations have an expiry date and cannot be sold. Apple offer availability and recipient eligibility apply. Each recipient may claim one invitation through GymGrove. Complete redemption through the App Store; review the free period, renewal price and cancellation terms before accepting. An invitation itself does not grant Pro until Apple confirms access. Deleting GymGrove or its Social account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Keep your Apple account secure. You may leave Social and request account deletion inside the app. Features may change, and outages or offline devices can delay synchronization. Exercise comparisons are estimates and are not medical advice. Apple's standard licensed application end-user agreement governs the app license; these rules govern the optional Social service and do not limit rights you have under applicable law.
